The eIF2 alpha (Phospho-Ser51) Antibody is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
Specificity
eIF2 alpha (Phospho-Ser51) Antibody detects endogenous levels of eIF2 alpha only when phosphorylated at Ser51.

Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human eIF2 alpha around the phosphorylation site of Ser51.

Purification
The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
