Description

The IkappaB-alpha (Phospho-Tyr42) Antibody is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.

Specificity

IkappaB-alpha (Phospho-Tyr42) Antibody detects endogenous levels of IkappaB-alpha only when phosphorylated at Tyr42.

Physical Form

Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human IkappaB-alpha around the phosphorylation site of Tyr42.

Properties

If you buy Antibodies supplied by Assay Biotech they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Synonyms

I-kappa-B-alpha; IkappaBalpha; IKBA; MAD3; Major histocompatibility complex enhancer-binding protein MAD3; NF-kappaB inhibitor alpha; NFKBI; NFKBIA; RL/IF-1

Purification

The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
